How to Create a Bookmark

There may be times when you’d like to bring an entire webpage into Ogment. For example, there may be a online educational game you want to use. The Ogment Clipper allows you to save a webpage as a bookmark and then bring that bookmark into a lesson. The webpage will appear within a lesson so you don’t need to navigate outside of Ogment to show that webpage. Bookmarking a webpage is just like clipping an article, video or image.

First, make sure you have the Ogment Web Clipper! If you don’t, here are directions on how to get it for Google Chrome (recommended) and Mozilla Firefox.

  1. Find a webpage you’d like to save.
  2. Click the “O” button (Ogment Clipper) that you installed on your browser .
  3. Choose “Save as Bookmark”.

  4. Just like articles , video or image you can edit the name of the bookmark and choose a tag or color. Then hit “Save”.

  5. You’ll see a message that explains the bookmark is being saved.
  6. Done! Here’s how a bookmark looks inside of a lesson.

  7. This is the same process no matter what you clip. See how to clip an article , image or video .

*NOTE: when you bookmark a webpage to use in Ogment you will get the entire webpage including banners or advertisements on that page.
